1973 TRIUMPH TR6

SOLD

If you are searching for a TR6 with integrity this car is for you. It is in essence a one-owner local California car from new with an original 83,913 miles. It is not a restored car but an original that is a perfect candidate to be driven and restored as your budget may allow, or enjoy as it is because it still is a good looking car. It is a very tidy example of a TR6 having been repainted once many years ago, still retaining its original colour. The interior is original but does need some work and the convertible top frame is there but the top is missing. Interior kits are readily available as are tops and very reasonably priced. Body wise the car is really solid with excellent floors, a restorers dream; you won’t be spending lots of money in preparation. It appears a totally rust and accident free car. The wooden dash is in remarkably good condition. Power is from the Triumph 2.5 litre 6-cylinder engine originally rated at about 106 horsepower and giving a top speed pretty close to 110 mph. They have disc brakes at the front and look particularly good sitting on the steel wheels with center caps. TR6’s have always been considered as one of Triumphs better endeavors. Finished in Mallard which is a Blue Green Colour with Black interior.
